ALTO, N.M. (TBD)— Ski Apache is offering 2017-2018 student season passes for $279. College students who purchase a season pass will also receive five discounted single day lift tickets loaded onto their pass to be used at their discretion, as well as three reciprocal days at each of Ski Apache’s nine partner resorts.
“It’s important to us that Ski Apache is accessible to students who might otherwise not have the resources to hit the slopes,” said Justin Rowland, Director of Operations at Ski Apache. “For many, skiing and snowboarding aren’t just hobbies; they are a way of life.”
In order to purchase the full-time college pass, students must present proof of Fall 2017 registration or schedule, as well as a valid student ID. Undergraduate students must be taking a minimum of 12 credit hours and Graduate Students a minimum of 9 credit hours, and must present a letter from the school’s Bursar’s Office to qualify.
Ski Apache, the United States’ southernmost ski resort, features 750 skiable acres across 55 runs accessed by 11 lifts. Riders can check out the Apache Bowl at the mountain’s summit or either of two terrain parks at located halfway down and at the bottom of the mountain.
