Navajo Lake Fly Fishing Report 03/03/2009

Fishing was slow-to-fair using jerk baits, deep diving crank baits and slow rolled spinner baits for northern pike. The best reports came from anglers fishing the main lake and the San Juan arm. A few smallmouth bass were taken on worms and jigs fished at 16-to-25 feet. A few trout were taken by anglers trolling jointed Rapalas on the main lake. We had no reports on other species.
