Angel Fire Bed & Breakfast
The Monte Verde Ranch 'Rock House', was built in 1935 using native granite rock, extracted from the ranch's own soil. The interior decor is a tasteful blend of antiques and southwest hand-painted furniture.
The Monte Verde Ranch Bed and Breakfast is located on Highway 64, six miles south of the Village of Eagle Nest, and three miles north of the turnoff to Angel Fire Resort. The renowned artist colony of Taos, and picturesque old mountain mining town of Red River are both nearby. The ranch house is nestled on 1,000 acres of ranch land, in the heart of northern New Mexico; an area aptly called 'The Enchanted Circle'. Surrounded by scenic national forests, historic villages and recreation areas, and teeming with wildlife; there is literally, something for everyone. Awaken to a view of snow capped Wheeler Peak; at 13,161 feet, Wheeler is the highest mountain in New Mexico. If you are watchful, you may discover an elk herd feeding on nearby grass, or a black bear passing through.
Monte Verde Ranch Bed and Breakfast offers three bedroom styles, each possessing those special extras that make your stay a pleasant and memorable one.
