Eagle Nest Lake
Constructed in 1918 by ranchers Charles and Frank Springer for irrigation Eagle Nest Lake offers anglers excellent oppertunities for Rainbow Trout and Kokanee Salmon fishing.
Regular vistors to the area are very familiar with the wabundance of wildlife the area is noted for. Elk, Bear, Mule Deer and the occassional Bald Eagle are regularly seen by Eagle Nest Lake trout and salmon anglers.
Many choices of accommodations await. Nearby Monte Verde Ranch, campgrounds and motels in Angel Fire and Eagle Nest are convenient to the lake.
