Red River Fly Fishing Report 04/02/2004

50cfs in the canyon. Lots of caddis about especially later in the day.The trails are in good shape and you don’t have to get down too early..Try droppers early and caddis dry later.Saw a few Stoneflies on 3/31 and fishing was good with D&D combo. Rio Pueblo Fly Fishing Report 04/02/2004

This stream is just starting to wake up and fishing has been fair with 2 nymph rigs..A weighted nymph with a small [#14] caddis larva dropper fished with an indicator. Rio Grande Fly Fishing Report 04/02/2004

920cfs Warm March temps have started a premature runoff situation on the Rio. We need some cooler weather to stall the onslaught of high, muddy water.
